We’re thrilled to share the amazing fundraising success of Tracy Austin, Business Administrator at Devon Partnership NHS Trust, also known as Sonic Method, who has raised an amazing £1,000 for Open Up since the release of her album, Summoning of the Paradigm Spark, on 30 September 2024. The funds have been raised through a combination of digital downloads, physical CD sales and generous additional donations from supporters.
Tracy Austin’s nostalgic album: A Zodiac-inspired musical journey
Tracy’s album is an incredible work of art, inspired by the astrological zodiac wheel and designed with a nostalgic analogue feel, reminiscent of the late 1970s and early 1980s. As a talented musician, Tracy plays the drums, piano and synthesizers on the album, while also writing the lyrics and narration. Guest artists lent their voices, guitars and narration to bring the project to life.
When describing her music, Tracy says it, “has hints of Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd, Ozric Tentacles, Thompson Twins, Enya and Roxy Music.” Each track has its own unique identity, transporting listeners back to the nostalgic sounds of that era.
