Exciting changes are taking place at New Leaf, part of Devon Partnership NHS Trust’s Vocational Rehabilitation Service. The site team has removed two old polytunnels and levelled the ground. Work is now ready to start on a brand new multispan growing space, due to be built in August, supported by funding from Open Up.
Site cleared ready for new build
This stage of the project happened thanks to Weaver Demolition and Tilbury Douglas Construction. Both companies kindly donated their time and skills by removing the old structures and levelling the ground at no cost.
When finished, the new multispan will offer a bigger and better space for horticultural activities. This will lead to more chances for recovery, wellbeing and skills development. It will also support people as they work towards future employment.

New Leaf is part of Devon Partnership NHS Trust’s Vocational Rehabilitation Service. The service provides therapy, training and supported employment. It helps adults living with a mental health condition to gain skills, build confidence and work towards paid jobs.
